[代公告] 元智大學社會暨政策科學學系誠徵專任教師啟事

  • 一、需求職別：助理教授以上之專任師資
  • 二、徵聘名額：壹名

  • 五、資格與專長：
    1. 獲臺灣教育部認可之社會科學或政策科學相關領域博士學位之臺灣或外籍學者。
    2. 優先考慮可教授社會學、社會工作、社會政策與公共政策相關課程者，具英語授課能力者尤佳。
    3. 具高度教學與服務熱忱、團隊精神，與跨領域研究潛力者。
    4. 具發表國際學術論文能力者。
  • 六、繳件截止日期：即日起至2026年12月15日止，郵戳為憑。
  • 七、檢具文件：
  1. 申請函（Cover letter）簡要說明學經歷、研究成果與未來研究方向，以及教學與服務經驗。
  2. 個人履歷以及個人學術著作目錄表（若為被收錄至SCIE、SSCI、A&HCI、SCOPUS、ESCI、TSSCI、THCI、EI等之期刊，請註明）。履歷請包含學經歷、研究專長、可開授課程、參與或執行之研究計畫、兩位推薦人資訊與聯絡方式。
  3. 學術代表著作與參考著作，最多五篇。如在三年內取得博士學位者，需包含博士論文。
  4. 可開授課程之教學計畫書共四門，請至少提供一門大學部與一門碩士班課程（詳參本系課程於https://sc.hs.yzu.edu.tw/content-74.html）。
  5. 推薦信兩封。
  6. 博士學位證書影本以及碩、博士修課成績單。（凡持國外學歷者，畢業證書與成績單需經駐外單位驗證。尚未取得畢業證書者得以臨時學位證明書代替並註明預計畢業日期）。
  7. 教師資格證書影本，無則免付。
  8. 如具助理教授（含）以上之合格教師證書，可免繳交推薦信兩封、博士論文以及碩博士修課成績單。

Faculty Position in Social and Policy Sciences

Department of Social and Policy Sciences, Yuan Ze University, Taiwan

Position: Full-time faculty position at the rank of Assistant Professor or above

Number of Positions: One

Starting Date: August 1, 2027

Salary and Benefits: In accordance with Yuan Ze University regulations for full-time faculty members.

Qualifications and Areas of Expertise

1. A doctoral degree in social sciences, policy sciences, or a related field from an institution recognized by Taiwan’s Ministry of Education. Both Taiwanese and international applicants are welcome.

2. Preference will be given to candidates who can teach courses in sociology, social work, social policy, and/or public policy. Ability to teach in English is highly desirable.

3. Strong commitment to teaching and service, teamwork, and potential for interdisciplinary research.

4. Ability to publish in international academic journals.

Required Application Materials

1. Cover letter outlining academic and professional background, research accomplishments and future research plans, and teaching and service experience.

2. Curriculum vitae. Please identify publications indexed in SCIE, SSCI, A&HCI, Scopus, ESCI, TSSCI, THCI, EI, or other relevant databases. The CV should include educational and professional experience, research areas, courses the applicant can teach, research projects, and the names and contact information of two references.

3. Up to five representative or supporting scholarly publications. Applicants who received their doctoral degree within the past three years must include their doctoral dissertation.

4. Syllabi for four courses, including at least one undergraduate and one master’s-level course. Please refer to the Department’s curriculum for current course offerings: https://sc.hs.yzu.edu.tw/content-74.html

5. Two letters of recommendation.

6. Copy of the doctoral degree certificate and transcripts from master’s and doctoral programs. Applicants with degrees from institutions outside Taiwan must have their diploma and transcripts authenticated by the appropriate Taiwan overseas representative office. Applicants who have not yet received their doctoral diploma may submit a provisional degree certificate indicating the expected graduation date.

7. Copy of the Teacher Certificate issued by Taiwan’s Ministry of Education, if applicable.

8. Applicants who hold a valid Assistant Professor or higher Teacher Certificate may omit the two letters of recommendation, doctoral dissertation, and master’s and doctoral transcripts.

Notes

1. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to participate in the next stage of the selection process, including an interview and an English teaching demonstration video. Travel expenses are the responsibility of the candidate.

2. Candidates advancing to the second-stage review will be required to submit additional documents for faculty qualification review by Taiwan’s Ministry of Education. Applicants with degrees from institutions outside Taiwan will also be required to submit additional documentation regarding overseas study and entry/exit records.
